1. Free Trial Session
Every new student at IndiaTutorsOnline is entitled to one free introductory session of up to 60 minutes with a tutor of their choice, at no cost and with no payment information required.
- The free trial is personal and non-transferable.
- It may be redeemed only once per household. Creating multiple accounts to claim additional free trials is prohibited and will result in account suspension.
- The trial session allows you to assess the tutor's teaching style, curriculum fit, and platform experience before committing to a paid package.
- No refund request is needed for a free trial — there is no charge.

2. Pricing & Payment Terms
2.1 Indicative Rates
All prices are displayed on the Platform at the time of purchase. Our current indicative rates are:

Prices for international students may be displayed in USD or GBP. We reserve the right to revise prices with 14 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.
2.2 Payment Methods
Payment is accepted in advance, typically on a monthly basis for recurring tutoring packages. We accept:
- Credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard)
- UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm)
- Net banking (via Razorpay for Indian customers)
- International card payments
By providing your payment details, you authorise us to charge the agreed amount. All transactions are processed securely through Razorpay and are SSL-encrypted.
3. Cancellation & Scheduling Policy
3.1 Booking in Advance
Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance through the Platform or by contacting our support team at connect@indiatutorsonline.com.
3.2 Late Cancellation Rule
If you cancel or request a reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, the session may be counted as a completed session and is non-refundable. Repeated late cancellations may result in a review of your account status.
3.3 Tutor Cancellations
If your tutor cancels a session for any reason, you will automatically receive either:
- An account credit for the full session value, usable for any future booking; or
- A full refund to your original payment method within 7–10 business days — whichever you prefer.
3.4 No-Show Policy
If a student does not attend a scheduled session without any prior notice, the session will be treated as a late cancellation and will be non-refundable.
4. Refund Rules — Live Sessions
The following rules apply to all live one-to-one and group sessions, outside the EU / UK cooling-off period described in Section 5:

5. EU / UK Cooling-Off Period
If you are resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of placing your order, without giving any reason — provided that the Services have not yet commenced.
- If you request that Services begin within the 14-day period, you acknowledge that you lose this withdrawal right once the first session commences.
- A pro-rated charge will apply for any sessions already delivered within the cooling-off period before you exercise your right to withdraw.
- To exercise this right, email connect@indiatutorsonline.com stating your order details and intent to withdraw.
This right is governed by the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Pre-Recorded Video Courses
Self-paced video courses purchased on the Platform have a separate refund policy:
- You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have accessed fewer than 20% of the course content.
- Once you have accessed 20% or more of the course, or after 7 days from purchase (whichever comes first), the course is non-refundable.
- Courses purchased as part of a bundle are refundable only if the entire bundle meets the above criteria.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by our team:
- Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.
- UPI and net banking refunds typically arrive within 3–5 business days.
- Credit / debit card refunds may take up to 10 business days depending on your bank's processing time.
- Account credits are applied instantly and are visible in your dashboard.
We will send you an email confirmation once your refund has been initiated. If you do not receive the refund within the stated period, please contact your bank first, then reach out to us.
8. Taxes & Duties
Prices displayed on the Platform may be subject to applicable taxes, including GST for Indian customers. The applicable tax amount will be clearly shown at checkout before you confirm payment.
You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or levies imposed by your own jurisdiction. Refunded amounts will be for the service fee only; tax components are refunded in accordance with applicable tax law.
9. How to Request a Refund
Requesting a refund is straightforward. Please follow these steps:
